It's Okay to Not Have All the Answers

I think I might have called myself a planner a few years and a couple of kids ago. I scheduled things out and seemed to know what was coming next. Add the craziness of the pandemic on top of an already full heart and I have joined the crowd of not knowing what day of the week it is and having no clue what in the world is coming next! I have found myself saying something like, "I am just flying by the seat of my pants," or "I'm just winging it". I used to think of these phrases as negative, and that a better person would be better prepared. You know that naive sense one has before they have been tested! But, I am reminding myself and hope to encourage you today to keep flying and keep winging it! We may not know how we are going to get there or where exactly we are going next, but we are always called to keep pressing on! Faithfulness. Consistency. One foot in front of the other. The next right thing. I don't think too far out. I want to be faithful today! Tomorrow has enough worries of its own. Just put one foot in front of the other in right direction, looking to Jesus and His ways first! God sustains and gives us what we need today! It's okay to not have all of the answers or not feel fully prepared for what is next. Our God is bigger. He is always prepared! So sweet mamas, just be faithful today, and then be faithful tomorrow. Don't try to figure out how in the world you are going to do it all! Just trust Jesus to help you do the next right thing! His grace is enough! Love them up! Love covers! "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." Matthew 6:33-34
